What is your trading philosophy?

We believe that the first step to after deciding to become financially independent is to build a solid wealth building and retirement plan. We use principals based on consistent, repeatable trades, using sound money management techniques and high probability entries and exits. How do you provide the online training?

We utilize a web-based class room system with Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communication so that the only requirement to receive the training is a computer with an internet connection, headset with a microphone and the most important ingredient; a positive, determined mental attitude.

Do you give specific entry and exit recommendations?

No. As a course of your training you will be taught how to trade. Specific entry and exit point will vary based on the individual trader's personality and risk tolerance. You will be instructed on sound entry and exit principals, as well as heavy emphasis on money management (after all the analysis, can I afford the trade?). Entries and exits will be at the discretion of the individual trader and addressed in strategy sessions and as a part of your trading psychology lessons - taking responsibility for your trades.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes we do. Essentially, as a new member you have 30-days to try us out. If you are not completely satisfied simply return your training material within the 30-day guarantee period for a full refund of your membership fee. I live in a time zone not favorable to trading Forex. Can I still learn to trade?

Yes, of course you can. By watching several currency pairs on several time frames, you will be exposed to numerous trading opportunities. Forex is a 24-hour market open 5 ½ days per week. These topics are covered in our trading room. We will be offering expanded trading room hours in the future and have an active forum for support. By the way, everyone thinks they live in a lousy time zone.

Do I need to wake up for the London open?

It is a fact that the European hours are the most active. 30% of all currency transactions occur during the European session. The US market is second with around 19%. For 4 hours a day, the two markets overlap creating the highest volume period. It is clearly a good idea to trade the most active hours, but it is not absolutely necessary. Our trading room is open during this overlap period, as well as other time throughout the week.

Can I be taught to trade?

In fact, the only person who can teach you to trade is you. It all starts by taking personal responsibility. I can offer you education, a system to approach trading and support. But, the ultimate decisions while trading lies within. This is why Forex Journey focuses on developing self-mastery skills side-by-side with strategy and money management training. I know a number of traders who have attended seminars costing from $2000-$3000. They all report that they learned tons, but that the afterglow of confidence (key word) wore off by Monday morning when they sat down by themselves to look at the currency pairs. That’s why Forex Journey offers a blended-approach of video training and live instruction in our trading room. Trading is, by nature, an often solitary endeavor. I have a real job, can I still trade?

Yes, but you can't just spend 20 minutes as day and expect life-changing results! Trading, like any other profession requires a learning curve. You determine curve’s incline and duration. We have all held full-time jobs and know the commitment it takes. This is the reason we always as what is your personal why. Your why will define your commitment. If you work full time, I simply suggest that you trade longer term charts. You will get fewer signals, spend less time monitoring your position, and still achieve your trading goals.

How much does the charting software cost?

We currently do not offer charting service as part of our package. This is likely to change in the near future, as we are working on rolling out a charting package for our members that is cost-effective. We currently use eSignal in our personal trading. You are free to use any charting package. We do recognize that cost is an issue and should be controlled, as in any business. Your trading is a business. We list recommended software in our members’ area.

Can your system fail?

Absolutely! And if you hear otherwise, run away as fast as possible! Most people consider the strategy or the trade signal the system. Wrong! The system is comprised of 3 components; 1) Strategy, 2) Self-mastery and 3) Money Management. A failure in any component will cause the entire system to fail. That being said, the best systems don't lose money when they fail, they simply reduce the number of signals or they breakeven a lot and wait for the day when the market comes back into synch with their objectives. We done correctly you we quickly gain an understanding of losing trades and bad trades. One, over time, will allow for success and one is the fastest path to failure.
